Photography and film - how the invention of the camera made the world what it is today is traced in this film with diverse historical footage. The focus thereby always remains on the current state of the media. Excerpts from past visual worlds of trash TV 60 years ago, early war reporting or expectations that media would bring people together worldwide now seem somewhat strange or even amusing. Beginning 180 years ago, the subtle arc leads to a critical look at the attention-driven development of image consumption of Instagram, influencing, streaming or advertising images today.

Director's Biography:Axel Danielson, born 1976 in Vittskövle, Sweden. He completed film studies at Akademin Valand in Gothenburg and joined the Swedish production company Plattform Produktion in 2013. Since then he has been working closely with Maximilien Van Aertryck. Maximilien Van Aertryck, born in Paris in 1989. The filmmaker has been working with Axel Danielson since 2013 under the umbrella of the Swedish production company Plattform Produktion
