For more than thirty years, it has been a fine tradition of the Braunschweig International Film Festival to present a selection of films and videos from the Braunschweig University of Art (HBK) in a special programme. This programme brings together the 2023 graduation projects of the Breitz/Honeit, Michael Brynntrup/film class and Corinna Schnitt classes. Every year, around 40 diploma students and around 20 master's students leave the HBK; many of the final projects use film/video, partly as a single screen for the cinema screen, partly as room-sized installations with large projections. The spectrum includes personal documentaries and performance films as well as video poems, computer-generated visuals and, of course, classic experimental film.
