The death of an old friend is a dilemma for Slavko: should he take part in the burial in the Muslim part of Mostar, divided since the end of the war 20 years ago? His family has had enough of his talk. Suspicion and mistrust rule everyday life, and Slavko does not want to make a mistake.

Born 1964 in Mostar (Bosnain/Herzegovina), studied direction at the Acting Acadamy in Zagreb. Works as director at theatres in Croatia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Professor for acting at the Acting Acadamy in Zagreb. A STRANGER is his feature film debut.
