For Herbert, a former boxing champion in the GDR, sport always had priority - before the family, before everything else. Today, he is 51, lives alone and works as a debt collector. At the same time, he trains his protégé Eddie. Herbert covers up his physical frailties which are appearing more and more until they can no longer be overlooked.
