After disappearing without a trace for a year, Kelly suddenly reappears at her sister Lauren's home in the Northern Ireland border region. But Lauren's joy at the return of the sorely missed Kelly, with whom she has a very close bond, is marred by her sometimes incomprehensible, provocative behaviour. It soon becomes clear that this has to do with the tragic death of their mother. And so the two sisters face their long repressed past together... Impressive film debut full of energy and power with two wonderful, absolutely convincing leading actresses who developed the story together with the director.

Director's Biography:Born in Newry, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Short films and TV work. In her debut film she wanted to bring together the power of Nora-Jane Noone and Nika McGuigan, with whom she had already worked separately. This is how the multi-award-winning WILDFIRE came into being.
