Introverted nine-year-old Cáit - fantastically played by debutant actress Catherine Clinch - is neglected in her dysfunctional family. Director's Biography:Born in Dublin in 1981, Colm Bairèad grew up bilingual but shoots a lot in Irish, which he is committed to nurturing. In 2012 he received an award from the Screen Director's Guild of Ireland for his contribution to Irish filmmaking. THE QUIET GIRL is his feature film debut.
