Retired hairdresser Pat Pitsenbarger (Udo Kier with a wonderful accent) is asked to do the hair of a deceased customer (Linda Evans) one more time. Reluctantly at first, he sets out to gather the necessary utensils. In the process, Pat not only has to face the ghosts of his past (and partially resurrect them), but also come to terms with the small changes in his hometown of Sandusky, Ohio, and its new inhabitants. The whole story is shown in whimsical, humorous pictures that lovingly scratch at the clichés and show that the acceptance of homosexuality in society is also changing.
Director's Biography:Grew up in small Sandusky, Ohio, he immersed himself in the gay community at 17 and met Pat Pitsenbarger, who inspired him with his openness and pride. This leads to Stephens' Sandusky trilogy addressing homosexuality.
