Who has not seen them? The campers at the side of the B1 to Gifhorn or at other highway exists. Decorated with red hearts and tiny lamps they park next to forests and fields. Mini brothels. Inside, prostitutes – mostly from Eastern Europe or Africa – are waiting for customers. What makes them do this job? What are their dreams and hopes? What are they doing while waiting? Lehrenkrauss worked on this project for three years. She gained the protagonists' trust and shows their world. Without any judgement she allows us to get access to this microcosmos at the edge of society.

Director's Biography:Born in 1979 in Gifhorn. Later studied Art in Luzern and Documentary Film in Cologne. Worked in Educational Arts and Photography. Since 2013 freelance filmmaker. Lovemobil is her first feature docummentary.
